Our environmental consulting and engineering services for the investigation, remediation and regeneration of brownfield sites and contaminated land include impact assessments, industrial and radiological process permitting, management systems, safety case documentation and de-licensing.
Through our environmental restoration services, we help our clients find efficient, cost-effective solutions to meet their objectives. UKAEA can provide assistance with strategy development, desk-based studies, risk assessment and management, data management and geographic information systems.
Key achievements in environmental services
- Completion of the Harwell Western Storage Area land remediation project seven months ahead of schedule and within budget, with no lost-time accidents.
- Achieved delicensing of eight acres of land at Winfrith.
- Seven hectares delicensed at Harwell – the largest area of land to be removed from nuclear regulation in the UK to date.
